Adaptive Motorsports & Wellness program provides a NASCAR driving experience to combat wounded/injured servicemen and women. This fully adaptive car provides a unique, adaptive, driving experience for our most deserving veterans. The driving experience combined with an adaptive driving simulator enables wounded service members to regain mobility lost due to wounds and injuries suffered in service to our nation.

Dr Jeffrey Heckman's scientific paper presented at International RESNA conferance -Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America-  was the first step towards introducing Freedom, Hope and Opportunity into rehabilitation and reintegration into society post injury.

Jeff (Tiessen) is also the President  of Active Living Magazine -North Americas leading magazine for health and activities for people with disabilities and Paralympic  World Record holder in 400 M. No doubt this will get major viewership in USA as well as Canada.

Dr David Wolf' life was turned on upside down, a Karting accident left him paralyzed from the waist down. He had a beutiful wife, ambitious kids, and one of the busiest OB/GYN practices in southeastern Michigan. Like many people who lose the opportunity to do the work they cherish, he felt like his identity had been removed. 
AMW testing and filming disabled vets and physically challenged civilians driving the Worlds first and only "Arrive & Drive" stock car experience for physically challenged at Lee USA Speedway -Governors Cup 150, American Canadian Tour 150 footage will be combined with the simulator footage mentioned above. 
Richard Morse Productions  will edit footage of people with disabilities developing virtual world driving skills, that transition seamlessly to real world applications. Richard has worked in New York for fortune 500 advertising campaigns for clients such as American Express, IBM, Rolex, Listerine and  PfizerFinal film footage will be polished and distributed as human interest post event.

A&W "GUEST" testing and filming disabled vets and physically challenged civilians at Lee USA Speedway -Governors Cup, American Canadian Tour 150, AMW invited guest include  Home for our Troops Veteran HFOT  building specially adapted, mortgage-free homes nationwide for the most severely injured Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. Most of these Veterans have sustained injuries including multiple limb amputations, partial or full paralysis, and/or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). These homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country, and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives. Since its inception in 2004, over 90 percent of donations to Homes for Our Troops has gone to directly support Veterans. HFOT builds these homes where the Veteran chooses to live, and continues its relationship with the Veterans after home delivery to assist them with rebuilding their lives.
In addition, AMW has reached out to Jeff Bauman and Marc Fucarile- a couple of the most visual faces of the Boston Marathon Bombing Survivors

Adaptive Motorsports & Wellness prepares for inaugural event April 11 & 12 at Lee USA Speedway with heavy emphasis on upgraded products and services. 2012 Motorsports Video Of The Year, 2013 Scientific Paper presented to International RESNA Conference, and 2015 feature event are ALL the brainchild of Brian Hanaford, his professional contacts and motorsport associates.

Hanaford has a NEW cast of International talent lined up to capture rehabilitation and recreational benefits that ultimately lead to reintegration back into society post injury, the benefits will be filmed and show cased on National and International TV. The mission started out as recreational tool, evolved to degree that engages patience in therapeutic rehabilitation, benefiting both disabled vets and physically challenged civilians.

Sure Grip Innovative Driving Solutions joined Adaptive Motorsports & Wellness, North Americas #1 manufacturer of hand controls and driving aids for the disabled, and support the mission with 4 different styles of quick release hand controls.

AR Bodies NEW Ford Mustang body style spearheaded by Norm Desjardins reached out to the motorsports community to install a new body style.

Disability Today Network is a Canadian company, founder Jeff Tiessen (double arm amputee) will demonstrate the development of hand / eye coordination in the virtual world on a gaming wheel that transition seamlessly to real world applications, for some that will be driving a racecar, for others that is simply driving to the corner store for a loaf of bread or picking the kids up from soccer practice...BUT for ALL this is proven to reduce accidents and safe lives

Richard Morse -award winning digital media production specialist and childhood friend will collaborate with Canadian Hall of Fame inductee Jeff Tiessen -also world paralympic record holder in 400 M- to produce a clip to be viewed Internationally in USA, Canada, and interest growing in Brazil.

NMEDA governs Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialist (CDRS) to help rehabilitate and reintegrate physically challenged back into society.
